American Legion Post 117 will meet Tuesday evening at 5pm at the VFW Hall.
Bethel Family Worship located at 101 Church Street in Lafayette is asking for donations of gently used toys to be donated to children during the Christmas season.
The 29th Annual Lafayette Lions and Lioness Lions Club Radio Auction will be October 27th, 28th and 29th from 5pm until 10:15pm each night right here on 102.1FM.
The 2025 Macon County Fair Fall Demolition Derby is tonight starting at 7pm, general admission is cash only and ages 12 and up $10, kids ages 6-11 $1 and ages 5 and under free.
City Clean Up Week will start Monday for Lafayette City residents. The city will come by on your garbage pick up day. Please do not put items next to your garbage can, a separate truck will come to get items. Items not accepted are: building materials, wire, tires, mattresses and no items containing Freon or gases & no extra large loads will be picked up.
The Macon County Legislative Body will meet in regular session, Monday night at 6:30am.
The Macon County Legislative Body and Macon County School Board will meet together in a special called session Monday evening at 5pm in the Legislative Meeting room in the Administration Building. This meeting is to discuss and/or take action on the Macon County Vocational School addition.
The Mt. Hermon Community Center will have a family friendly dance tonight featuring Hickory Smoke. Doors open at 6pm and the dance starts at 7pm.
Elder Tom Carter will preach at Maple Grove #2 Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday night at 6pm.
Enon Missionary Baptist Church will not have services Sunday in order to attend the revival at New Harmony.
Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church is having “The Whole Family Comes to Sunday School and Church Day” Sunday. Sunday school begins at 10am and church begins at 11am.
Eulia (U Lee) General Baptist Church will have their 150th Anniversary Celebration Sunday at 11am. The service will be followed by lunch and fellowship.
Bro Britt Little will preach at Union Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday at 11am.
Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church will not have services Sunday in order to attend Dixon Creek’s revival.
A Gospel Meeting begins Sunday at Walton Chapel Church of Christ and will go through Friday with speaker Bob McPherson. Sunday Bible study is at 9am, worship at 10am, singing at 2pm, Sunday evening worship at 3pm and weeknight services at 7pm.
