During the month of June, Macon Community Hospital is offering discounted Vascular Screenings! The Carotid Artery Ultrasound, AAA Ultrasound and the ABI Peripheral Arterial Disease Screening – during June they’re $40 each or $110 for all three! For more information call 615-666-2147.
American Legion Post 117 will meet Tuesday evening at 5pm at the VFW Hall.
County Government Offices in Macon County will be closed Thursday in observance of Juneteenth.
The 49th Annual Macon County Hillbilly Days will be June 19th, 20th and 21st in Key Park.
The Macon County Planning Commission will meet, Tuesday night at 6pm at the Welcome Center.
The Budget Committee will meet Monday at 5pm in the Administration Building Meeting Room.
The Macon County Legislative Body will meet in Regular Session, Monday night at 6:30pm.
Lafayette Masonic Lodge #543 will have a Master Mason Degree tonight with a potluck dinner at 6pm and degree work at 7pm.
1st Assembly of God on Akersville Road invites you to Child Safety Day, Saturday at 10am. The Sheriff’s Department, Fire Department and Fire truck will be there.
The Mt. Hermon Community Center will have a family friendly dance featuring Hickory Smoke, Saturday night. Doors open at 6pm and the dance starts at 7pm.
The Annual Singing at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church will be Sunday at 11am with dinner on the grounds following service. Donations will also be accepted for Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
